Our Favorite Dresses

By: Chelsea DeSimone

Sometimes, the hardest part of a wedding is finding the perfect wedding dress. Sure, planning is pretty darn difficult, but that’s where people like us come in to help you out! Wedding dresses are different, though… Women have to pick out a dress that is what we had been envisioning all along; something that makes us feel beautiful when we put it on. As if this task isn’t hard enough, we then value the opinions of our loved ones. Who wants to wear a dress that no one else thinks is as pretty as you do? With all of this being said, we’ve gathered some of our favorite dresses.

J. Crew’s Rosebloom Dress

At less than $400, this shorter beauty is a gorgeous fit for a bride on a budget. We adore the sheer top paired with the mid-waist bow. Our favorite part of this dress is the bottom half; the rose blossoms add just the right amount of femininity. A benefit of this wedding dress is that it allows for easy moving throughout your special day – this meaning that you can get your boogie on all night long!

BHLDN’s Isadora Gown

Who can go wrong with silver and gold sequins? Sometimes, brides opt for a less traditional wedding dress. The Isadora Gown may be just right! Instead of an ivory or white dress, BHLDN chose a nude hue.  Another great aspect of this dress is that it looks good on lots of different body types. The bodice is more fitted and then flows out at the waist. The toile offers a more organic texture.

Anne Barge’s Chatham Gown

When we came across this Anne Barge gown, we fell in love with it. This train is nothing short of elegant.  Not many dresses look good with or without a veil, but as you can see, this dress can go either way. The wide bow across the bride’s mid section is the perfect balance between the fitted bust and the long, flowing train. This dress is ideal for any bride who wants to “ feel like a princess” on her wedding day.

The dresses that we’ve chosen to include in this post are just a few of our favorites. We tried to include some different options to show you all just how versatile dress choices can be. Let’s be honest… they are all equally as beautiful! It is all a matter of putting on that dress and knowing that it is “the one.”
